Fairway Independent Mortgage Remembers 9/11 and Supports Tucson Firefighters
Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation supports Tucson Memorial Stair Climb, "CLIMB4THEFALLEN", an event to honor 9/11 heroes.
5151 E Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85711, September 11, 2014 (Newswire.com) - For the 3rd consecutive year, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation will support Tucson firefighters, law enforcement personnel and first responders at the Tucson Memorial Stair Climb, “CLIMB4THEFALLEN”. This event honors the New York firefighters and first responders who sacrificed their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as local heroes; while raising funds to support the families who have survived them.
Fairway occupies the entire top floor of the 5151 E Broadway office building and supports the event by keeping climbers hydrated and positive and providing a rest and first aid station. The Fairway employees and their families will cheer on the climbers as they complete each of the 6+ laps of the 17floor building. Climbers will complete a total of 110 floors, the number of floors of the Twin Towers that collapsed after the impact of terroist piloted Boeing jets.

In total, 343 firefighters died instantly when the when the Twin Towers collapsed, along with 60 police officers and eight paramedics, according to The Telegraph.

CLIMB4THEFALLEN will take place Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 5151 E Broadway, Tucson, AZ 85711. The public is invited to attend this family friendly event. Opening Ceremony activities kick off at 8am.
